Two New Fundraisers for The Children’s Garden:

eScrip & Amazon.com

What is eScrip?
eScrip is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through purchases made with participating merchants.

How does eScrip work?
Hundreds of merchants have partnered with eScrip to create a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of your purchases. You shop the way you like to shop - either online or at the store - for groceries, clothes, gifts, electronics, travel, entertainment, ...you name it!

To participate, sign up at www.escrip.com and register your existing credit and grocery club cards (Safeway, Visa, MasterCard, Debit, ATM, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club). Once you've registered, shop at eScrip merchants using your registered cards and the contributions are automatic. Your privacy and security are a priority. eScrip is a VeriSign Secure Site and they will not sell your information.

When shopping online, start at the eScrip Online Mall. You'll find your favorite .com stores including Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, Apple Store, Best Buy, Gap, Old Navy, Target, Toys R Us & more!

As long as you access these stores via the eScrip Online Mall, our school will receive a percentage of your purchases.

How do I get started?
Go to the eScrip Supporter Registration page and complete the registration process. Step one is to select The Childrens Garden School (Group ID: 500016602). If you are registering your Safeway Club card, you will need your Safeway Club number, which is different from your phone number. If you don't have your card, call Safeway customer service at 1-877-723-3929.

Next, download Auto Track for eScrip. Every time you shop with a participating online merchant, your contributions are calculated automatically for you to see.
(Note: Mac users are unable to use this feature.)

And how about Amazon.com?
Amazon.com has created a program that essentially provides compensation (like a referral fee) to our school for promoting the use of their website. It is similar to eScrip in that the school receives a percentage of purchases made.

The key is to access the Amazon.com website using this link so that our school will receive a percentage of your purchases.

To sum it up...
You (and your friends and family!) can raise money for the Children's Garden by doing what you already love to do - go shopping! Start donating right away by registering with eScrip. Whenever and wherever you shop, use your eScrip registered credit and grocery club cards. When you shop online, start here: the gateway to Amazon.com and the eScrip Online Mall.
